ok im finally thinking about lifting the old jeep (89 xj) . so im starting with a eddie bower 8.8 with disc brakes , now i know some people have done this swap and im curios what did you do about the residule check valve on the xj master cylinder , do you swap over the explorer master cylinder as well ?

do you use different u-joints for the 8.8?

only thing i have thought of is to use a mastercyl off of a 06 1 tonne dodge i have laying around because its front and rear disc so no residule check . now i just have to mount it and hook up the hydraulic booster .
