I just purchased a 98 tj and it appears that the front wheels have 1 inch wheel spacers giving it a wider front end than the rear. Is this bad at all for suspension, alignment or driving conditions etc. Thanks all in advance

I would either get another pair for the rear or remove the front pair. What size tires and rims do you have? Is it lifted?

Well, you're asking a question thats going to get many Ideas, opinions and guesses

IMHO they're using the spacer probably because they've put wider tires on it and to prevent rub they had to space it out, why they didnt do that to all four is beyond me!!

some people say spacers are a weak link, while others love them, I know there are two different of types spacers, one that just slides over the studs and use same studs and one that come with there own studs,,agian IMHO the ones that use the same studs would be weaker because of less thread area to hold the wheel on.

for a jeep, wider (to a point) is better for stability and as far steering goes, that would be in the eyes of the beholder(how does it feel to you)

you've got a good start, at least you noticed they were spaced and now the rest is personal preference
