I've got an 88 Wagoneer Limited with the wood grain sides. I'd like to replace the old vinyl with new. Does anyone know a source for this wood grain?

Thanks
Al

somebody correct me if im wrong but i heard that the woodgrain is laminate (maybe on older fullsize cherokees???) if it is you can go to a countertop shop and pick whatever woodgrain you like there are a ton of options for wood grain laminate! if it is vinyl i would guess a sign shop could print you up some vinyl if you bring in a pic of the woodgrain that you want! hopefully my speculation is helpfull Embarassed Embarassed Mr. Green

Hell just pull it all off... You'll just tear it up wheeling anyway. Beside $900+ is WAY to much... You could put like.. Furniture quality real wood on for that price.

Thanks for the link. Pretty expensive especially for vinyl sheets but they are very hard to find. If I ever went nuts and did a full restoration I might go for it.

If you had the time and patience im sure you could use tape and different cans of spray paint and create your own wood grain

holy shit that is pricey, if it was laminate you could do it for like $160, one 5x12 sheet, and it would hold up way better than vinyl. i bet you could still make laminate work... just make a bunch of templates of the shapes you need and 3M tape it on or something then stick your molding over top of it. there would also be more options there are some pretty sweet looking woodgrain laminates like black woodgrain and shit Very Happy
