Are you talking about actually fabricating a lift? Or just piecing one together?

There are different ways to make a 6.5”lift. You can piece it together or buy a whole kit.
I have 6.5” lift that is pieced together. Rusty’s front springs, and bastard pack rear with boomerang shackles, and T&T Y-Link.
Just remember, going high has a price. There are other factors involved in lifting it up besides the lift itself.

Great setup, very stout and lots of articulation. I do not take it easy on mine. I normally run 4 to 6 diamond trails and slam down hard on rocks.
To keep from being off topic I will PM you tonight with some pics and let me know if you have questions. BTW I have no affiliation with them, I am in the Air Force; I just really like the setup.

I just used a 4" lift and ran spring over axle setup (about 7 inches of lift total)

How did you do a SOA? The springs are already on top of the axle.

He posted in events section that his XJ is “bone stock” and that he is going to do a spring over.
85xj09, I know you’re young and you want to join in but please do not make up stuff to look good. Be honest and people will respect you for your honesty more than anything else.
An XJ is already sprung over in the back, only the MJs were sprung under in this class of Jeep. A 4” lift on an XJ will get you 4” of lift give or take a 1/2 inch due to differences in weight.
If you need help in coming up with a lift then ask in a new post with what you want and your budget, people here will help. I am not calling you out, just offering advice.
Aaron

Could be right, he may have that Cherokee mixed up and think it is an XJ.
