About a week ago while dropping someone off after work my radiator craked- there was just a popping noise and it started steaming. Turns out it cracked one of the vertical tubes of the core in the front on the passenger side. I got it back to my apartment, and the next day when I started it up after putting more water in it the water was squirting out the front onto the car across from me! I flushed the system and re-filled it with a little Bars StopLeak, at the recommendation from an engineer friend of my Dads at GM, with little results- still shooting fluid like a squirt gun. So my question is, for a 10 year old radiator should I bother trying to find a mechanic to take it to and repair it, or should I just find an auto parts store that will let me work on my Jeep in the parking lot and buy a new one? Any opinions?

I'd just replace it - if it's the stock radiator, the upper portion is plastic and isn't known for it's durability. A few people here have used http://www.radiator.com/ without problems.
