I use Redline - a little more expensive, but it doesn't get changed that often. I do it about once a year - I drive the jeep less than 10k miles a year, but better safe than sorry I guess. Wink

I run 80W90 in the rear 8.8, per Ford, and 85W140 in the D30. It's not what's spec'd for the D30, but it's the closest I could find without spending $15/quart at the dealer.

I forgot to mention what I run. Rolling Eyes

The owners manual says to run 80w140 synthetic for the Rubes axles. It takes a little less than a gallon to due both F&R diffs. Ive been told that the Mopar stuff runs @ $85 gal. Thats a bit much. I can get the Amsoil for $42 a gallon.

Valvoline 80-90wt in the front, 140 in the rear...Has kept my '96 Cherokee on the road for 204k miles...I do have a hellish jiggle in the rear end after hitting certain bumps...I think the bearings are shot...and I was hoping for 300K. I change it about every 50 thousand miles or so...
