I have a 02 TJ 4cyl 5 speed with 65000kms 31x10.5 and it is a dog for power on the hwy, I just started a new job that I have to drive 200kms a day, and need to get some better MPG out of the jeep that I love so much, anyone have items that have or know of worked for the 4cyl? I do not want to part with jeep...........Thanks

Remove the front driveshaft, Synthetic diff fluid, tcase, and engine oil, K&N drop in filter, free flowing exhaust, Tune up

get a pair of stock tires and save your 31's for the trails

or regear your axle's to 4.56 or so to bring the overall final ratio a little better then it is now.

Not gonna do much....the front axle still spins on a TJ.

Other than that....get a different car that more comfortable and fuel efficient. Trust me on this one. I did and I'm much better off.
