Hey guys and gals, was installing a new NP231 transfer case and realized I did not have a new gasket to go between the transfer case and automatic transmission. The old one that was on it is brittle and split and I can't for the life of me, find one online anywhere. Does someone have a link or site that would have this part for me?
Thanks, Charles

I've never used a gasket there.

I realize there is no fluid in this area so I understand you not putting a gasket in this area, just wondering why there was one there in the first place and any consequences long term of not putting one there from now on.

I've never seen one used before, it will be fine without it! Mr. Green
