get some 2x4x3/16 or 1/4 some will say 1/8 but i believe that to be a bit thin.1/4 being a bit heavy.some 2x2 in the same thickness, and a two piece of flat steel or angle iron 2x2.

measure ,cut, weld, grind, paint ,and bolt up.

My neighbor welds, but I don't, so I can't picture how all that would go together to explain it to him (when I hit him up to weld them for me). Photos? Preferably a shot from the bottom so we can see how they're attached.

I made these sliders out of 1-1/2" square tube, 1/4" steel and 3/8" steel. They are low profile so you almost can't tell they are there. But I bashed the crap out of them on rocks and all it did was scratch the paint.

[edit] I'm trying to get the picture to load, but I have no idea what I'm doing, so here's a link to the cardomain site. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2523112/3
[re-edit] Ha. I figured it out. The host site was adding a bunch of extra html to turn the pic into a "web address." Thanks ehall.

The link is generating HTML instead of a raw image so the BB is ignoring it. Here is the raw image.
