I have a 1990 Cherokee with manual transmission. Lately the clutch is getting air in the system. I have changed the master cylinder and the line going from it to the slave cylinder. I am not loosing fluid and there is no brake fluid dripping from the bell housing but every day the clutch needs to be bled or the clutch will not disengage. Once it is bled it works fine for awhile but the problem comes back. Any ideas?

since all you have left is the slave cylinder , i would go with it . could be pulling in air on retraction.

or try back bleeding it , if you can back bleed them . duno never had a problem with my Cherokee with a clutch

i had the same issue... the slave cylinder itself is leaking, or the bleeder valve isnt getting tightened enough after you bleed it, if this has been going on for a while you may as well replace your clutch while your at it.
