Recently, my 2001 Jeep Cherokee 4X4's enh oil pressure drops to zero while at a stop. Once the Jeep is up and running the pressure appears normal. Just changed the oil today and same issue.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Thanks....

how many kms you got . did you change your filter .

i would put a master gage on the test port before i go believing everything the electronic gage on the dash board tells me .

how much steel was in your oil .

88K and yes oil filter was changed.

I do not know how much steel was in the oil. Did not think to ask the mechs.

It usually starts up initially just fine. Everything works normally until about 10 to 15 minutes into the drive.

Will check with master gauge as soon as i can.

Thanks.....

sounds to me like a main bearing or seal. rebuild kits aren't much and include all of the main bearings and seals, head gasket, rings etc.

shouldn't of went through a bearing at 88 k . thats sad , for something like that you have to take it apart to see whats wrong .

drops right to 0? or just goes low .

drops straight to ZERO and the Check Gauge Light illuminates. I will have someone tear it apart and inspect.

Is it safe to drive in the meantime?

honestly put a master gage on the engine first , could just be a bad sending unit . if the gage reads 0 then you know you have problems . the master gage plums into a test port near your oil filter .
