But that will all change soon with your help of course

OK first i need to say Yes, i finally got my Jeep
(Jeep grand cherokee laredo trail rated 4x4, 4.7)
2005, 40k, excellent mint condition

In advance THANK YOU ALL FOR THOSE WHO HELP ME

1. I how much should new brakes cost, no roaters or anything else, if i goto a brake place i dont want to get screwed

2. I want to put a small lift on it, i was thinking a body lift approx 2" (cost is my factor here) any ideas, typs or good places to get them; what should it cost

After the 2" body lift what would be the largest size tire i could place on it and what type would you reccomend

3. What about greater that 2" body lift but not to big for a resonable price
not sure if you can go larger w/ a body lift think i might have to go full suspention, trying to stay away for that (cost)

I have so many more questions but i will only post these for now, and again thank you all for your help

unfortunately a body lift would cost you several thousand dollars and hours of fabricating since you would have to craft a frame to lift the body onto , the wj grand Cherokee is what is known as a uni-body (like a car) were the body and frame are one .

perhaps you can get a suspension spacer kit , shouldn't run more than 100$

the way we uni-body owners clear bigger tires is by taking a sawzall to the wheel wells and cutting out a lot , since you can't body lift . you probably don't want to do that .

if you just need pads and not rotors and you don't have to touch the e-brake system i couldn't see the materials being more than 150$
