Just signed up
So my story is my '92 F-150 is miling and rusting out.
So rather than getting into payments for an overpriced POS, I looked in my backyard.
Going to restore my first new vehicle I bought 27 years ago.
Here she is.
Regards,

Thanks much, guys.
In answer to the earlier question, it is on blocks.
It is an '81 with a 258.
The paint job was a metallic blue I had put on in '90, and added the silver and black stripes, black wheels, and black hardtop.
I am going to restore back to the 1981 colours.
Montana Blue with 3 tone Renegade stripes, white hardtop, white wheels.
I am adding a sunroof, plus a/c, clock and tach(original eqipment style)
as it never had them.
The new dash will be cut to accept the new DIN stereos rather than the old shaft style.
Will be staying with the short cut I/O black carpet.
New licensed repro bod, dash, right down to new knobs.
Still stuck whether to go leather or cloth seats, as will never have those stitched vinyl seats again.
Anyway, I figure 2 years restore time.
Build starts in the spring.

Does it have the D30/AMC20 combo? Which tranny do you have? Be sure to post pics of your progress! _________________

Hey, Orange..
You got her right on the differential combos.
It has the SR-4 tranny.
That has been modded to stop the "minor" glitch that caused the reverse idler to fall to the floor.
