sylvania silverstars are amazing over OE. I recently had to change both of my headlights when the ice/snow hit a few days ago. Apparently when there is water inside of your lenses that hits the bulb, they blow Razz. But $50 for some bright BRIGHT headlights, silverstars are the way to go. I get flashed quite often because people think my low beams are high beams.

I have these:

They are an icy blue color and they are friggin' bright.

I have a pair in black too, but they don't fit. eBay bastards.

Just make sure they are aimed correctly or the best headlights in the world will just shine into sky without illuminating the ground like you need.

X-2. These are good headlamps, and definitely make sure you aim them correctly or get a shop to do it for you, as they tend to fool oncoming traffic into thinking you're running hi-beams. As posted above, they're $20-$25 a bulb but can easily be found at either Autozone, Advance, Pep Boys, or Napa.

In my search for a new headlight since i hit a deer this morning, I found that pep boys, auto zone, and advanced auto all have an "Xtra Vision" headlight for $8.99! That's probably the one I will be picking up after work today, really I never had a problem with the brightness of the OEM units, so I don't think I will be switching anytime soon!

But I have been looking for those projection headlights, and I will have to buy a pair eventually, this way I can play around with different bulbs...

If you want the brightest headlight possible for our buddies jeep, it will have to be a projection headlight. The H4 bulbs will be plenty bright for most of us, but if you have the money an HID kit is the best hands down! You can see twice as far with an HID kit, but they usually start have $500-$700 for the kit.

I would personally tell your friend to buy the ebay kit for $35 shipped!
