i have a 90, xj, 4.0, auto. it is dunping oil into my air filter. i know its probably my pvc valve. right? anyway i cleand itout real good when i rebuilt my engine and it was doing good for a while but i just moved to az and i drove it all the way here pulling a trailer of my stuff. it did really well but now it is dumping alot of oil in my air filter. can anyone tell me what to do tell i can get a new valve cover? thanks

clean out the vents on top of the valve cover again , why would you need a new one that would do nothing except look pritty .

In short clean what you have with carb. or brake cleaner and maybe a small wire (piano wire or guitar string).
Next Replace the back one with the upgraded new CCV package, P/N 4762592, in place of the original CCV tube, elbow and grommet from dealer, make sure that they give you this part number this is the upgrade number. If you did not do this when you rebuilt your engine.
Best solution go to junk yard find 91 valve cover and vacuum lines, clean these and install then junk yours for scrap metal.
Hope this will help, no firsthand knowledge on any of above as of yet but have an 88 that needs upgrade.
