How hard is it to replace a rear quarter panel on a 98 sport? Where is a good econimical place to get new skins? Any good reference sites? Thanks

It's not very easy. There is a lot involved, to get it done right.

try and cut one from a wrecker . if the window frame is good i would cut there so your only welding 3 inches instead of 3 feet .

i got a quote, they wanted 3500. A tree lept out and took the back door and the back quarter. I have a couple of welders and might go for it. The pic of the other guys jeeps looks great compared to mine. I will try to post some pics. For now I sealed up the breaches in the hull with silicone and some rustoleum.

I did the rear quarter on a Camry. It was easier than I thought it would be. Went to a junk yard and cut bigger than I needed. Made it match at home and riveted together and then brazed the seam. A bit of grinding, body filler & some paint, all done. Not perfect but you wouldn't know unless you knew where to look.
