I have looked in a few catologs and on the internet some. The only push bumpers i find 4 jeeps are 4 grand cherokees or commanders. Where can i find one 4 my xj?

I'd check Galls. This company makes universal models - you'll probably have some trouble finding an XJ specific model since they haven't been purchased new by any departments in a few years. You can also check some of the fed auction sites to see if they're getting rid of any.

No, I think he's talking about a police push bar, where the middle part is foam padded and the bumper is anchored where the tow hooks usually mount. If you can't find any aftermarket, you can try and hit up any police cruiser boneyards. We have one here in Va that specializes in wrecked units, and since they've steadily been fazing out the Cherokee, you'll have a pretty good chance finding one. Be warned though, if the bar has been used or the front part has been tapped in some way, the anchor points could probably be tweaked, meaning you'll have to either try and heat the metal and bend it back into shape, or worse, have to cut the entire piece off and weld a new bracket on. Or you could get lucky... Mr. Green

I just got the Setina PB 400 in the high strength aluminum with the rubber pads. Cost $333. Got it mounted a couple days ago but no pics of it mounted yet. The lights (Hella FF300) didn't come with it. You have to call them and have them make it for you, make sure they send you one for the XJ, and not a Grand Cherokee. I get some pics of it mounted soon.

It's not hard at all, 1-10 I give it a 3 just because of all the measuring to make sure everything is square. Put all the brackets on the PB and hold it up to the bumper. Once you get it centered mark the holes on the bottom of the bumper, drill the holes. Mount the PB using the bottom 2 bolts. This is where it gets tricky, now make sure it is not leaning back or forward so it is straight up and down and have someone hold it there. Then you have to reach up under the cross beam of the push bumper and score around the top bumper brackets. I used a small pick with a 90 deg head (see pic) . Score around as much of the bracket as you can. Now take the PB back off and take off the top brackets off of the PB and line it up with your marks on the bumper and mark your holes to drill. Drill the holes and mount the bracket to the bumper (not the PB). Now take the PB and line the bottom holes up get the bolts started and line up the top bracket with the PB and bolt up. Tighten everything up and your done.
