I am installing a 4" lift and im concerned that i will need to replace my rear brake lines.

Where can I get them?

I live in Hawaii so if there is a line that i can buy from an autoparts store that would be best.

I'd install the lift first and see if you need one.

If you do, I don't know of any from another vehicle that will work. You'll likely need to order one and have it shipped. Just get an extended stainless line for your vehicle with a 4" lift.

You'll most likely need extended front lines. OE brake hoses from a YJ are a cheap fix for TJs...not sure if they are longer than XJ lines as well. If not, I'd recommend extended stainless lines for the front, too.

You can use the rear soft line from a 95 YJ. It's plenty long enough for what you need.

For the front, you can simply straighten out the hard lines and still use what you have. Or you can use 95 YJ front rubber lines.

I've used the rear line before, it works great! I've also straightened out the front lines and that too works great!

Here's a link that I just found. You may find it useful.

I just wanted to thank Orangeamc13 for that link. It's a great asset to my homebrew lift kit archive.

Questions for O2tj. Are the rear brake lines from the dodge trucks even longer than the YJ lines... and are the a direct bolt on?

The link says the YJ lines are good up to about 5". But my future plans are 6-8", so I am trying to gather info on parts for that height.

Yep, bolt right on. I used it for both my xj and tj when I did the lift. the xj has a frankin-lift and is about 6.5 inch in the rear and the hose has tons of flex room.
