I hope you guys know what I'm talking about because it's kinda hard to explain. When I open the doors all they way, as I close them they "stick" and when I pull them there's a really loud POP! Something inside the door is binding while I'm trying to close it and I'm afraid that I'm causing serious damage to the door.

Thanks for your help in advance.

You should lubricate the hinges. Spray some lube into the hole where the flat bar goes into on the door side.

Okay, so I lubed up the door where the bar goes in and it seems to have helped. But, even though the door isn't binding anymore there's still a loud grinding type noise.

I think the lubrication is just a stop-get, and there's still an underlying problem that should be fixed.

But for now, the door isn't binding anymore.

That bar assembly is replaceable. I would continue to grease it over a couple days. It is most likely rusty or covered in sh!t. The grinding should clear up after a couple days of door use and lube.

Mine is the same way. When I bought it, the pin holding the door stop wasn't even attatched, so I grabbed a nail and stuck it through there so the door doesn't just swing open into whatever's next to it.

Now every time I open it, it pops really loud on both stopping points, and I WD-40'd the $hit out of it. It looks like the flat bar is moving up and down more than it's supposed to, which is making contact with the door and making the "pop" sound.
