I have a 1988 w/the 4.2 liter carbed engine. Does anyone have a decent PCV map for me to use? I just got the jeep and its not running right. It keep stalling and doesn't idle well. most of the PCV tubes are not connected. What is necessary and what is not. We don't have emissions testing here in my area. I just want the engine to run properly. thanks.

Something like this...

Also check gasket of inlet/exhaust manifold, all vacuum lines, if the carb is still tight on the intake etc etc. O yeah and if it is still the Carter BBD 2bbl. its not very reliable and known for its idle problems. But i also still drive with it and with all vaccum leakkages solved is working fine. But my experience is the less of the PVC connected the better. Only what is neccesary. And check if the famous nutter by-pass is already done.
