Hey everybody! New to the site, seems to have lots of great info! I recently bout my second Jeep, first was a 78 Cj, I bought this 1991 Cherokee after recently selling my toyota 4x4 and getting back into off-roading. Its got 3" of lift and sitting on 33" Txrus MT's. It's got the 4.0 and 5 speed. I've already started cutting the fenders for more flex, just not in the pic, have done the back and tackle the front this weekend.

WOW 3" of lift and 33"tires?
I have 4.5" lift and running 32's and have trimmed pretty agressively and rear still rub.
Just not a lot of room to trim the rear without opening the rear to the elements!
Have you flex it up yet? _________________

Does it rub? I looked at that photo and the first thought in my mind was RRRRRRRUUUUUUUUBBBBBBBBBB.
Looks straight other than that. _________________ Links4Jeeps.com

Rubs at full turn. I cut the rears already due to pulling a trailer. I'm gonna try and cut the fronts this weekend and add some 2" spacers to the front coils and extend the rear shackles to even it out. I dont do so much climbing and flexing as my friends, i'm more of a mud person myself, but backing the trailer up has limted me some due to the rubbing . I will post some new pics up after I get everything done. |
