I went crawling with a local club 2 weeks ago and I slid on my gas tank skid plate a little. The skid plate deformed and is now pinned against my gas tank. Should I bother taking it off and trying to hammer it out? Has any one found an after market gas tank skid plate? All I see are transfer case, ttranny, and oil pan skid plates for the JK online.

P.S. The metal on the gas skid is a lot thinner that the other 2 skids. It doesnt hold up to all that weight on it. masybe some othe metal welded on for reinforcement might help.

Don't know if Skid Row has one yet (not listed on their website), but Rockhard4x4 does, and it's pretty tough.

This one can suport the weight of the whole vehicle but it is still unedr production. will have to wait.

JK GAS TANK SKID

Made from 3/16" steel, like every Kilby skid, the JK skid is ready for as much abuse as you can throw at it. The skidplate is capable of supporting all the weight of the Jeep!! Available for LWB models first. Still in Development.

JK-GTSP-LWB $599.95
