You should match the shocks to the amount of lift you have, otherwise, they will limit your suspension travel. If your spacers are just a temporary addition to get you a bit higher for tire size until you can spring for a proper lift, then you dont need fancy shocks. most of your better lifts will come with the appropriate length shocks anyway. also consider sway bar disconnects when you get you spacers, as the added stress on your stock links will cause them to break. (I currently have 1" rubicon springs with 1" spacers to clear my 33's, and I broke my left front sway bar link leaving my driveway - JKS makes quality discos, that's what I went with, not too expensive, and they're adjustable for more lift in the future!) BDS shocks are good quality, are available Jeep-specific, and again, won't break your wallett in two. I'm still happy with mine 20,000 miles later.

Just another thought for you to ponder, if you get to much lift (3 inch spacers). You might start getting driveshaft vibration from the U-joints binding. You may need to buy T-case lowering spacers to prevent unwanted vibration, and later buy a fixed yoke CV style drive shaft(unless you have a Rubicon).
I agree with Polar about the JKS disco's, they are quality units, the only draw back about them, (and this goes with pretty much all disco's) is they're pretty difficult to reconnect then when your on un-even ground because the front sway bar being so large.

im no mechanic... but once i figured out how the coil compressors work best, it wasnt too bad, took about 6 hours total, i have a few pics of when i was doing one of the front wheels, and the front is by far harder to do than the rear

Did you go with the ACOS adjustable spacers or the standard 2" spacers?
