My brother-in-law have been wanting to go to Tellico. It's about the only place we haven't been yet that's not private property.

My question....Has anyone ever been there? What are the minimum mods to have before going, i.e. lift size, body armor, recovery, etc.?

Thanks.

You would be advised to only run a stocker on just a couple of their trails. Man at that, it's going to be a challenge but fun! Winch is a must with a stocker by youself. You can have lodes of fun there but I believe at least a 3" lift at minimum and even with that I would leave trail 2 and some of the others alone.

Tellico is fun. even for stockers. I ve seen a stock YJ on 30" STT's blaze up trails 4-5-6. Stay away from Upper 2, 11,12, 3 .
4 and 5 they tore up the majority of rocks.
6 is somewhat left alone. Its fun for someone on 33s.
The other trails are more hard core and going with a group is recommended greatly.
