Why do you need 36" tires for trailing, mud, rocks, dirt??? Seems like an easy decision here.

theres some pretty deep ruts i can play in, also lots of mud. im looking at the 33" boggers because i have the 4cyl and i dont want to go with a long arm set up.

Gen-right makes some new high-clearance front fenders for the TJ that'll let you clear a hella-tall tire without much lift, and have different width flares. Nice design.

But i'd still get rid of the stock axles if you plan to run anything bigger than 33's. If you're trying to keep costs down though, swapping in non-TJ axles adds up extremely fast. Try combing junkyards for some TJ F/R Dana 44's. I wish I would have.
