Drake69 brought to my attention that I might be able to save a few hundred dollars by gutting/disabling my antilock brake system entirely intead of replacing the $500 booster pump in my '90 Laredo.

Does anyone have any experience or comments regarding that procedure. I did a little reading on the internet and found that it's a common practice with Delco ABS equipped cars to disable it.

I need to get my new Jeep on the road ASAP so I can get to work, etc... Any help, "don't do its" or "do its" is appreciated.

Thank you -

Tim
