Was there ever a resolution to the intermittent ABS/Brake warning light problem? Our Liberty has this happen when we hit a bump with the right front wheel. It goes out when the ignition is turned off but may or may not return when the car is restarted. Nothing is wrong with the brakes.
Thanks |

I own an 06 and mine is having the same issue. Except my ABS light will come on randomly for no reason. I have taken it to the dealer for the same problem at least 8 times in the past 8 weeks. They have replaced the rotors and pads, and "completely rewired the car."
Any one at all have any ideas what could be causing this? |

ABS wheel speed sensors are a 'proximity type' sensor. If the gap or clearance isn't within a certain dimension, it will cause problems. A loose wheel bearing could be all it takes to change the gap and cause a fault. _________________ "Money isn't everything, but it keeps the kids in touch!" |
