Short story - I need a stock tranny pan for a 42RE... 1996 ZJ....
Long Story - My Jeep I bought had 4wd, but someone put a 2wd tranny in there instead. So I had to get a new 4wd slushbox from the junkyard, and they shank the pans. So either I need to try to weld the holes closed, or just be done with it and get a pan that I know wont leak. SO I need a stock tranny pan for my 42RE....
No, the pan on my 2wd 42RE wont work... it's from a junkyard too and has also been shanked.... |

| If you end up welding it, put a drain plug in. They should come with them from the factory anyway. |
