1990 4.0 w/automatic transmission.
I finally got the CCV line and oriface cleaned out. My question is: Can I replace that tiny I.D. hard plastic tubing that goes from the valve cover to the vacuum port on the intake manifold with something larger like maybe 1/4" or 3/8" I.D.? It seems like that tiny line will just clog up again soon and a larger line will pass more air. Has anyone tried this? I don't want to screw up the CCV system if there is a good reason for the line being so small. Thanks.

I don't see why a larger tube would pose a problem if you could make it fit onto the manifold...If anything it would interfere with the vaccum system.
