OK, I'm an idiot.

I rolled my wife's Liberty forward so she could open the back door. I stepped out, but I only moved the shifter into reverse, not park, and the door caught on a light pole before I could get back in and park it.

I don't know if I can get by with new hinges, or if I have to replace the door.

Before I take it somewhere and get screwed, I'd like to look at options.

Everything I've Googled so far this morning has door locks and trim, but no hardware.

Anybody have any suggestions on where I can buy replacement HINGES?

Thanks

(Yes, I hate myself)

I don't know what year or door you damaged but http://www.acepickupparts.com/ and http://www.baileytruckandautosupply.com/ have hinges listed for $15-$18. Does the pillar look like it was damaged?

I can't tell. The door itself now sits more "forward" when closed, and it's a hassle to close.

(The thing was frickin' IDLING!)

So it's either:

1) The hinge bent

2) The DOOR bent

3) The bolt in the hinge is the strongest thing in the car, and IT stayed straight while bending the metal of the body....

Everything LOOKS OK - i.e., there's no noticeable stress in the metal anywhere, so I don't know what the heck to do.
