An easy way to tell is to look at the rear driveshaft that comes out of your Transfercase. The long would be a slip which means the yoke slides up and down on the shaft on the output of your Transfercase, but doesn't alow for steeper angles.

Does it have a long shaft sticking out of it like this?

or

a short one like this?

You want the short one to have the SYE. I'd guess you do with 4-inches of lift, but who only knows. Very Happy

As well if you have a SYE you would have a CV style driveshaft. You can tell you have one because of the CV joint. Its the big knuckle looking thing behind the gray bar in the photo. Notice the grease zerk on my driveshaft? Right above it is the shafts slip. On a None SYE version you would have the slip right off the end of the Transfercase hince the term "Slip Yoke Eliminator"
