for 10 bucks I will sell you the blueprints we made..has exact measurements, how to bend the tube to the exact angle..all that good stuff

took about 150 in materials and a weekend to do it

as for the metal..I think the side supports were 1 inch steel pipe that i got from lowes..then i forget what i used as the main one..the blueprints have all that

all the box steele is 2x6 except for the ones taht go on the side of my fenders..those are 3x3

Nice! Although, calling it "bling", reminds me of a certain movie quote:
[style=Crocodile Dundee]Call that bling? This is bling! http://www.flickr.com/photos/silverback/31585113/[/style] (And no, I am not responsible for that abomination!)

Having said that, does that boom serve any practical purpose? It is reminiscent of the kind of thing fitted to glacier going trucks to stop them dropping down crevasses, but I'm not sure how many glaciers you have in VA Very Happy .

Regards,

Pahdohn me, does my ahccent bother you? Smile

Okay, okay, I'll try again:

However, does that hoop of steel tubing sticking out and up serve any practical purpose? It reminds me of the kind of thing fitted to glacier going trucks to stop them dropping down crevasses(bloody great cracks in the ice), but I'm not sure how many glaciers you have in VA Very Happy .

Kári (always learning).

(Ps. My apologies if I really am offending anyone. The english I leaarned in school was of the british variety, and I guess it shows.)

Nice, where did you get the plate for mounting the tire on the actual carrier? Did you buy it or make it?

good looking jeep.

how do u need to trim to tuck 35"s with a 6"?
l like the picture of the tire carrier with the tire on it, it looks like u might a well rip off ur rear view mirror.

did u get ur long arms yet?
how do well do they work?
