I have heard the 2.4l jeep (xj) with an auto is the same bolt pattern as the chevy/buick v6 97/98.also the spline counts are the same and you can put a dana 300 on that auto 904. does anyone have any knowledge on this or should i say more specifics....
Thanks
Mike G
where this is leading is a suprechrged v6 out of a riviera to a 904 to dana 300 _________________ sawzall solves all

Do you mean the 2.5L? There's just not much love for us 4bangers - I haven't heard of a lot of trannies that are compatible with that engine other than the NV4500. I also heard somewhere or other that you can use a bellhousing from a Chevy S-10 or Camero 2.8L V6 to mate an SM420. Actually, here's a link for a swap but it's on a YJ. Not real sure about an auto tranny. Anybody else? _________________ Nothing to see here. |
