I am new to this forum. I am a division director and live in the Reno, NV area. Military service in 'Nam, Okinawa, and Korea. I have owned several Jeeps; the most recent is a 2002 Wrangler Sport; sold that in 2005 and bought a new Liberty CRD diesel. Good vehicle; lots of torque.
I enjoy offroading, shooting, boating, skiing, traveling, and I like vehicles; car crazy may be the term.

I've always wanted to get my hands on a diesel Jeep. Any plans for it? What type of guns do you have?
The pictures didn't show up but thats because the coding is a bit off. Make sure that the code before the picture url in the brackets is: [img] and the code after the url is [/img].
Example: [img]url[/img]
All you have to do is switch them in your post and they should show up.[/img] _________________ '94 Grand 5.2L

Let me try this again on the photos; I thought I followed the instructions regarding the Img things; must have missed on it somehow.
The 1992 S10 pickup (15 years; 173,000 miles) is my daily driver. I use
the Liberty when it snows, to go off road, shooting, and for some roadtrips in the winter and through the mountains; I have had it 1.5 years and put 26,000 miles on it. I towed my boat with it a number of times; it does very well from a power point. The Liberty wheelbase is very short and I do not take it over 65 MPH while towing my boat. I just bought the car earlier this month (hardtop convertible) and took it to S. California one weekend when the weather was nice. Only time I have driven it so far.
I have one Ruger Redhawk .44 magnum; 2 S&W .357 magnums - one is an ultralight frame (impulse purchase); 1 Kahr .40 cal semi-auto; a couple of .22 rifles; a 12 guage shotgun - very short barrel. I sold my deer rifles after I came back from the service some 3 decades ago. I used to do a LOT of hunting before the military. Not making a political statement at all (I am conservative by nature); but I saw too much killing and carnage in the military and thus had no desire to hunt after I got back home. I would if I needed to feed my family; but will not for sport. I do like shooting though and go out regularly; find a 3-sided canyon; set up targets; and have some fun.
Lemme see if these photos come up now...

You got the tags right, it appears the image url's are not complete. They should read something like this:
http://sdw-eltoro.smugmug.com/photos/73384457-M.jpg
The image file is the .jpg at the end of the statement. Those need to be added to your url to make it complete. Try opening your image in your browser and right clicking on it, hit properties and copy the image location, paste it between the [img] [/img] tags. |

Hey, it worked! Nice picks.
Thats a nice set of guns. I'm only really starting out in my collection so all I have is a .22 and a K98 mauser that my uncle gave to me a long time ago. I think its a Russian capture weapon but it was made in 1943 so who knows. My dad has an 1884 (I think) lever action .32 winchester. Awesome weapon, beutifully kept too. I keep it in my room for "safe keeping" No explination needed for not hunting. I've never been to war (I'm 4F as they used to say) but hear where your coming from. I'm not a hunter myself, at least of live game, I have been know to hunt computers, stereos, car amplifiers, and other knick nacks for fun though. _________________ '94 Grand 5.2L
