Sandy and I are already planning on going, which means we're probably gonna miss the trail run to Paragon that month.

Speaking of which, at the next local run Sandy and I are gonna pay up our dues for this year. I think it's $70 for both, right?

For Camp Jeep there is no actual camping at Oak Ridge, they only allow that for the various VA4WDA events.

Years past there was camping at Camp Jeep. You had to pay for it though, not free. I believe you had to rent the tent from them and for an extra fee they would set it up for ya too.

Unless you want to see all of the PR stuff and displays that Jeep sets up, save you money and go on the VA4WDA run in Sept. Same trails, less people, on site rough camping and only $40.

also you will see more of the trails too. At Camp Jeep you may only get a chance to do at most 2 of the trials.

Nice. You got to take far more pix than we did. What trails did you get to run on? We got "A", "B", and an extra one "E" since we missed the Playground.

Did you hit "E" on Saturday morning? That was our only half day off the whole time. Steve slept in and I hit the Camp JEEP area. We were back out there Sat afternoon in time for heavy weather warning and they rushed us down off mountain but we had finished for day anyway.

Great time but LONG days at the stationary winch point!

Naturally we hit it when you guys were gone. The rock garden was a blast and we only had one little place where we got hung up and had to be strapped off, otherwise we crawled across all of it. You guys would have been stationed right there, too, and where we got hung up was the first bend out of the garden that had a very tight turn and a rock sitting right in the middle. Mr. Green

Yea, we kept everyone to the right because it was the easiest (and thus quickest) line through. Which guides did you have? Dave, Keith, John and Deb or did you get Brian, Ben and Sasha?
