Does anybody happen to know how the wiring Confused harness disconects from the door jam? Does the screw in the middle of the plug have to come out first?

Yes. The screw in the middle comes out first.. It holds the plug together..

Quick side note .. If you are going to leave the doors off put some dielectric grease on both plugs to protect them and make sure they dont get coroded...

Also .. Make sure you roll any windows down that you want down.. The drivers door controls the entire vehicle..

Thanks! I thought it must. I won't be taking the doors off. I just need to repair some broken wires in that harness. Thanks again.
