The dual spring one's got Darwin written all over it. He ought to stand next to the wheelwell while his buddy attempts to flex and compress those springs. At least we won't have to worry about him reproducing if he does.

alright you think thats funny a kid that went to my high school has a ranger that is SAS with no lift and took another frame and welded 15 inch suports between it for a 15" body lift then he got some dana 44 8 lugs and instead of moving he spring perches to fit the leaf distance he took some 4x4 steel .250 wall tubing and weledit it to the top of the axle tube on tope the spring perch so they would fit where ever he needed them..but yet he put in a create chevy TBI 350 on a turbo 400 tranny with a NP-205you can see his engine steering box and all that throw the "gap" a full sized man could squuezr thru the bed...oh and for a light bar he took some regular head lamps and bolted them to his grill... _________________ Jeep cherokee 98 4.0

This is not really jeep related but back in the day when I was in high school I knew a guy who wanted hydrolics in his busted up lincoln towncar so bad that instead of doing it the right way (which on a towncar there is no right way) he took all the bolts off the frame and body except two in the middle of the car. That way whenever he hit the brakes the body would just rock back and forth on the frame. Now I thought the guy was stupid but if you factor in getting in a rearended or head on collision scenario at even low speeds, I would imagine that the body would just shear off the two bolts holding onto the frame and take half his body with it. _________________ '94 Grand 5.2L
