I have a strange problem with the gas gauge in my 93 Wrangler, the guage always reads full when the key is in the run position. When the key is in the accessory position the guage reads correctly which of course means I can check the level before I start the engine but I would like to fix it so it reads properly all the time. Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas on where to start looking to fix this?

Thanks in advance,
Jesse

Weird. Particularly as I wouldn't have thought the gauges should react at all until the key is in the run position.
You might want to check the ground connection for the instrument panel. If this is bad I would expect to see the gauge bottom out, and if some item that is powered in the acc position is using the same ground, then that might explain the reading you get there ("reverse feed" through the instrument panel).
I also wouldn't recommend relying in the reading you get in the acc position.
