My Grand cherokee has been of the road for about a year So last week I hooked up the battery again. everything works well except the central locking system. All the doors will unluck using the remote, but when locking again it's only the drivers door that locks. There is no noise or anything from the other 4 doors. Does anyone have a solution to this (electrical) problem?? Thanks!

Check the wires going from the driver's door into the body inside the black boot thingy. Check them one by one. They have an issue in this spot alot. Use the "search" function in this forum, there have been lots of posts.

Finally after downloading a service manual and learning a few things about the wiring of the car, I located the problem to be the front passenger door module (PDM) that has a malfunction. However they are very pricy. so will try to try to change the burned off relay on the the unit myself. Once and a while its just about getting a bit dirty....
