well i got my steering fixed..... used DOM 4130 for the tie rod Finger

and some reg old DOM for the drag and 1 ton rod ends. Good things well this is all very beast and i doubt ill be breaking it anytime soon. Bad things. took 6 hours to install, had to hand reamer everything, other bad is while i was doing this i found a nice crack in the frame by the steering pump even with a brace so i looked around some more and i have a NASTY crack by the track bar drop bracket and the transfer case leeks for some reason now.

had a local shop in Roanoke bore out some 4130 for the tie rod and got the one ton tie rod ends from advanced. Did this all at a friends house down here in Roanoke, thank you matt for the load of help and parts hookup.

the hand tap... had to tap both knuckles, pitman arm, and tie rod where the drag link ties in

the new steering all done

and the cracks Crying or Very sad

and and good news dad just became friends with a certified welder who happens to be mobile, and who has hookups with people that can bend tubing, cnc machine stuff and all kinds of other good stuff

so does that mean a cage will be coming along soon foxx?

and i guess the plan of action will just be to weld the cracks up as best as i, we, whoever and then truss it with some angle. foxx is that i beam of mine still over at your dads or did that get shipped to stumps?
