I've noticed that when I do anything to cause my suspension to articulate a little, I hear a popping noise. I thought it was coming from the front, so I assumed sway bar. I disconnected it and sure enough, the pop went away. So the way I see it, the sway bar is a solid bar, no moving parts except on the ends, so could it be the bushings? I don't know what a bad bushing would sound like, am I on the right track?

I'd be willing the bet the ball-and-socket joint at the top of the links is broken. It happens quite frequently.

yeah, I had a buddy whose jeep did that. You could see his pop in and out, you can't on mine.... any way to tell? When I disconnect them, they swivel pretty free.
