Hey guys, right now i'm in college and got some 2" lift shackles (1" total lift) and wanna combine it with a rough country 4" lift for my 94 YJ. I noticed some sites don't recommend a cv driveshaft and/or SYE for their kits unless it's the 6" (rough country specifically). Isn't it 100% necessary to convert to SYE and CV if you're running over 3.5" in a YJ cause the driveshaft will vibrate and literally fall off while driving because of the crap angle?

Also, is there anyway around this? cv's and sye's are expensive.

Not necessarily 100% necessary but certainly strongly recommended. As far as way around it...don't lift the vehicle as high. Smaller lifts require less extra stuff to make your vehicle work smoothly again.
