This may sound strange but, I can turn my key to the off postion and remove it from the ignition and my Jeep keeps running. Any know what might be wrong?? I have to use the clutch to stall the engine to get it to shut off. Any Ideas??

check your alt. wires. Bad ground keep the Alt. from grounding the field, therefore keep making power.

Thanks, I'll check that....and now that I think about it, it only happened while I had a small trailer hooked up to it, I wonder would a bad ground from the trailer wires cause this?

In this case I don't see how a bad ground could cause the problem.
However, depending on which lines are taken to your trailer connection, miswiring or faults in that might. If BAT and IGN wires are shorted together anywhere, they would cause this.
Other possible causes are bad or misaligned ignition switch, or bad ignition relay.
