The passenger side floor is soaking wet. I assume it has something to do with the A/C.

Just wondering if anybody here might know what's going on before I take it in anywhere and get charged a lot. I'd rather fix it myself. It seems like it's just water. Doesn't really have an odor to it.. only it's making my car smell a little musty.

Can't have that. Also it's going to cause a lot of water damage if I don't figure out what's wrong soon. There's a small puddle starting to pool now.

Any ideas are welcome!

Thanks

just a quick question..

the water seems to be coming up THROUGH the floor, and not dripping from up top anywhere.

I just want to verify that this is the problem, and so I don't drill holes in my A/C line for no reason..

thanks!

you guys are always a great help

The system will leak from behind the carpet in your floorboard area. It stumped me for a while too because the top of the carpet wasn't wet.

If you peal back the carpet and pad on your passenger side, you should see a boxed unit at the front - that's the problem area. If you turn on your AC and watch, you can probably see water coming out of there if you let it run for a while.

I haven't paid attention to the carpet on the passenger side of my truck, but I did notice that I have a lot of water coming down from under the truck . Is that normal for a Jeep ? Or should I have someone take a look at it?
