My tapco sends the rounds everywhere but into the barrel. I might get 3 good rounds through before it jams but I'm just going to grind a "ramp" for the bullets to follow into the barrel. They may miss but they don't miss by much.

Hmm... I just have the clip that came with the gun and the other SKSs I've used had cheap surplus clips (two friends owned them.. Both bought clips from the same place called "cheaper than dirt")... Hopefully I will be able to get some new clips soon and see how well they work.

i have heard that loading 18 or 19 rounds helps because the spring isnt maxed out. polishing feed ramps into the chamber can help a whole lot.

just useing the 10rd box mag and stripper clips is also a pretty easy way of loading and the stripper clips are cheap

Yeah one of said friends eventually got some stripper clips... As far as I know he was pretty happy with them.

Those pistols are beautiful drool

but...

I like the 1911 like everyone else but I just haven't come to term with how much they cost. I've seen some for 500 dollars which is a good price but I don't know how to justify 2000 dollars for a 1911.

I'll try to post a pic or two of my small budding wapons cache soon.

I normally keep the Punisher with me (Its a 3" barreled 45 ) I sometimes carry in the Jeep.. Depends on where I am.. Some parks dont allow guns so I have a small pistol safe that I keep with me while in the park.. Then back on the hip it goes..

I went to the range today to shoot and saw something I couldnt resist..

My wife will be mad but my daughter almost crapped herself she was so happy...

The smile says it all..

Thats right a bright pink rifle... rofl ITs a Cricket , they are made specifically for kids..

Man that is a priceless pic Wink Looks like Christmas time LOL. She's adorable!!

Nice guns, I've have thought about getting a hand gun a million times. Even when I got car jacked and beaten like a wet noodle. Just don't know if I could live with myself if I had to truely use it and end some ones life. I guess after going threw what I did and truely almost being dead, I just prize one's life to much. God I'm a dork Finger Just my 2 cents. But SWEET Guns guys!! Mr. Green

As far as hunting, never could find any one to go with or a place to go. The only ones I have is a old BB gun (before they limited the psi rofl ) and a 22 rifle.

Smith & Wesson is literally right down the street from me. My father-in-law picked it up from the retail store/firing range they have. Cost about $750-800. Didn't cost me a penny! Twisted Evil

So, I was showing a buddy the .45 and he says "Man, I can't believe the condition of this thing. It was made in 1911 and it's still looks like it's new!"
rofl He's not the sharpest tool in the shed! rofl

For the record.. Taurus makes a very nice 1911 and it is around $500

I shot one recently and was very pleased.. It comes with alot of the features that I have spent hundreds adding to my already high end guns..

I am debating buying one for a carry gun ..

$515 is about average price they can be bought at.. And it easily rivals my Para that I have twice that invested in..

Taurus has received a bad rap from some gun snobs, but I've always found them to be well made. I carry a small frame Taurus .357 when I'm not carrying my Glock M22. I'll have to post some pics of some of my toys. Glad to see there are some other gun-nurts here.
