I would say thats a yes.. The neighbors have seen me coming and going with my guns. and I take my daughter to the range once in a while.. You should see the looks on their faces...

And even better the people at the ranges.. When my daughter starts shooting..

rofl

She took the range safety course when she was barely 7 and the guys at the range always get a kick out of watching her shoot...

Shocked

the suppressor isnt just for neighbors, its something ive been wanting. plus, it gets pretty annoying every other weekend having the sherrif show up because of a complaint. this is usually how it goes:
me: Oh, hello sherrif any problem
sherrif: no, just a complaint about explosions and machine gun fire
me: Well im just shooting my AR-15, semi auto only, my forms haven't
been processed yet for the machine guns, i have to stay on top of my
game incase i get deployed
sherrif: ya i figured so, you get any new toys?
me: I just got a new sight on this baby, why dont you try it out
sherrif: sure, sounds like fun

bang bang bang

sherrif: well ill see you later, ill be sure to stop by next time the old lady
hears a noise, maybe you'll have some real weapons to play with.
me: yep, they'll come any day now

My 1927m Ballester-Rigaud never leaves my side. As of 2 years ago, in Texas, you can keep your gun in your vehicle, loaded and ready to go as long as it remains concealed.
If I can figure out how to post images, I would show mine and my kids favorite pasttime.

Got a new toy yesterday! S&W 22A-1.

Went shooting and a buddy brought his S&W 500. Above the 500 are a Walther 22 and Colt 45. The .50 cal is one massive piece of equipment!!!

How does the new Smith shoot? I just got back from the mid west where I had the pleasure of shooting a Ruger MK I built in 1970. My cousin found iit n in a bucket after my uncle died. It was dirty and jammed every third or 4th round, but the thing is a tack driver. It will shoot the snot out of tin cans at 25 yards and should give reliable performance after a good cleaning.

Hope yours shoots straight and lasts a long time! We need a full report with pictures.

Does anyone know if there's a website that shows which states grant reciprocity to another state's Firearms Permit Holder's? By the way if you're going to go class 3, you may as well get something Full-Auto. My very first class 3 weapon was a Ruger 10/22 with an integrated silencer and what a drag it turned out to be, you've generally got to use "Standard Velocity" ammo instead of "High Velocity" to keep the bullet's speed around or below 1,000 FPS otherwise you'll get that supersonic crack as the bullet breaks the sound barrier. Also, silencers are still legal to make so they don't go up in value like my other class 3 stuff does- I've got an M2 carbine and and M-16A1. But the thing I like best are my .50 calibers- I've got a Barrett as well as a S&W .500 Magnum. There's no registration so nobody in the Gov't's got a clue as to who owns them. In addition to my first S&W 500 Mag I've just recently ordered a S&W 500 ES, it's a .500 Mag with a 2&3/4" barrel with survival kit with it in the case. I also placed an order for a Mossberg JIC Mariner at the same time. They're supposed to be arriving this week & I can't wait!

Here's what I take in the TJ while we run around in the woods and creeks.
My Taurus .40 cal

I also just bought this little carry peice.
Smith & Wesson Sigma 9mm

I'm going for my CCW as soon as I can get a Saturday away from work. These are the little ones. I also have a pair of 12 gauge shotguns and a couple of rifles. My wife loves that pink .22. She wouldn't shoot though. Wussy. HAHA.

I fondled one of those Walthers the other day at the gun store. I am looking for a "pocket" gun and thought one of them might work. It seemed a little large for front pocket carry......

What is your opinion of it for that type of carry.........?
