My 98 Cherokee has a rattling noise when you are setting and idling. I was told it is the bolts are loose on the torque converter and rubbing. My questions are: How hard will this be to tighten up the bolts? Rolling Eyes What made them come loose? Is this somthing major?

fix it now . you have to remove a sheet metal plate on the front of the transmission , take one out at a time and put blue lock tight on them . when you take one out put it back in before you take out the others and so on .

major problem but wont take long , and is easy to fix . but if you leave it alone you will find your self with a broken cps and your vehicle won't run .
