Hi, i'm havin a problem with my Jeep Grand Cherokee its a 1998 model witha 4.0L 6L engine..
when a turn to the LEFT and step on the gas the car stalls and I have to let go of gas pedal and step on it again but very slowly so it wont stall,
recently it started doing it when iturn right but not everytime...

check your power steering fluid, or your ps pump is going out

Funny.. Mine did the same thing a while back.. It ended up being the ground cable..

Check yours.. If it has a swollen spot or alot of corrosion that is your problem..

Mine would completely stall out everytime I turned left.. It was very weird..

But its a good place to start..

Hi everyone thanks for youre replys, well it looks like it has been fixed its been two days and it hasent happend again...what i did was I checked the the PS fluid level and i notice that the viscosity of the fluid I was about to put in was thicker so i refield it. I ddint know that the viscosity changed so much...sorry i'm to this stuff..

HI i took it down to shop anyway so they can check it out... I told them what happend. They tought it was very strange that the PS fluid would cause the car to stall or turn-off..
