Sounds like someone has flogged the piss out of it if all of that has been replaced recently! Shocked Additionally, for $7k it sounds like someone is trying to get back all the money they put in to it for those repairs!

Let's put it this way. I recently picked up a 97 Cherokee 4x4 for what amounts to a song and a dance (wayyyy less than $7k) and it is in really great shape for 141k miles. It's only had a fraction of the maintenance you described for this 98.

Personally, I wouldn't even consider the one you are looking at for that price. For $7K you can probably find one of the last year models (2001) with 50K miles. The Cherokees just don't hold their value like other Jeeps i.e. Wranglers, Rubicons, etc.
