has anyone ever used lift spacers for front and rear suspension? wondering if this is an okay and easy way to get more lift for bigger tires. damn unibody xj's make lifting expensive pissed

For a 2" BB (budget boost), that's pretty much all there is, two rear shackles that stretch out the bad leaf packs, and two poly bushings that go in front on top of the coil springs.

So, the question would be: "Is 2" enough or do you want more?"

AAL's don't last that long , i would make a spring pack out of something else say s10 springs . just replace them all except the main spring . and did i mention you can get springs for next to nothing or nothing at a junkyard .
